means, "as fate would have it." In April of 2007, Cox decided to
walk to Chicago in 100 days from his home in Sutter, Calif., to Chicago
in the hopes of not only
gaining the attention of talk show host Oprah Winfrey, but to gain the
attention of the country.
Cox began his journey two years prio with an idea that if Americans
came together, they could change the direction the nation is headed in.
Cox is scheduled to conduct a book signing and participate in a welcome back celebration at Amicus Books on August 12th 2007
