Sviatoslav (Slava) Alexakhin has lived in Oregon House, California since 1997. Coming from a scientific background, he is interested in finding the simple reality hidden within the realm of things that are usually considered mystical and esoteric. “Recognizing the Fourth Dimension” is his first book.
Slava says that, "We are trained to perceive the surrounding world as three-dimensional. The fourth dimension is not a trick. In the same way that we don’t notice the air we are breathing, we do not notice a lot of things that are around us. One of them is time. We do live in four- (or even more) dimensional reality. Usually we just don’t pay attention to this. The first step to broadening our vision is to learn and to develop features that allow us to experience the world as four-dimensional."
